"Can we launch next month?" is the most common question we hear. Sometimes yes — for a white-label SKU with stocked packaging. For custom ODM work, a clear-eyed timeline protects your brand more than optimism.
A realistic staged timeline
Week 0–1 — Brief and quote
Format, volume, formula status, and packaging intent. HiGO aims to reply within 24 hours with MOQ and a sample plan.
Week 1–3 — Sampling
Representative samples for taste, appearance, and fill weight. Softgels and complex liquids often sit toward the longer end; tablets and capsules are usually faster when materials are in stock.
Week 3–5 — Feedback and lock
You approve formula, flavour, and packaging comps. This is where most delays hide — changing actives after sample approval restarts the clock.
Week 5–10 — Materials and production
Raw materials, printed packaging, and line scheduling. First production MOQs at HiGO commonly start around 200,000 capsules/tablets, 1,000 kg powder, or 300,000–500,000 softgels depending on format.
Week 8–12 — Release and ship
Finished-goods testing, documentation pack, and outbound logistics.
How to compress without cutting corners
- Choose white label when speed matters more than unique IP.
- Freeze artwork early.
- Approve samples in writing within 5 business days.
- Avoid stacking a new format + new flavour + new bottle in one pilot.
Average pilot-to-shelf across recent HiGO brand programs lands near 11 weeks when decisions stay on schedule. Your project can be faster or slower — the brief decides which.
